The file archive will be available to all Luottoposti users starting on 15 May 2025. Previously, the file archive was available only to billing customers. Following this update, all registered users can view the attachments of their sent messages and signed documents in the file archive for 14 days from the time of sending. After that, the attachments are automatically removed from the file archive.

If a billing customer wishes to retain attachments older than 14 days in the File Archive, please contact Luottoposti Customer Service by email at asiakaspalvelu@luottoposti.fi no later than 12 May 2025.

With this update, you can also remove attachments from the File Archive before the 14-day retention period has expired. Please note that the attachment will then also be removed for the recipient. We recommend ensuring that the recipient has downloaded the attachment before you permanently delete it.

Attachments are stored in the File Archive for 14 days because encrypted messages remain accessible for 14 days from the time they are sent. During this period, the recipient can download the message as many times as needed using the same message-specific password.
